Illustration-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Overview:
Design an illustration for a 4-piece dinnerware set that includes a dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, and mug. The two plates will have slightly different designs but remain cohesive and one of the designs from the plates will be printed on the mug and inside of the bowl.

The theme of this design is cherry blossom.

This dinnerware set is elegant and versatile. It's meant to be used for everyday, but someone could also use it for special occasion and feel that it's "fancy" enough for that.

The design should be elegant and simple, and feature cherry blossoms on a branch.

The JPG of the lavender 4-piece set is a current set we sell and it also represents the style of dishes that the new design will be printed on. Note that the print will be on the *inside* of the bowl, not on the outside rim.

Style and color:
Style should lean towards a watercolor look, where the petals of the flower "fade" a bit and look painted on the tips. (see JPGs in brief)

Color: pink

The canvas example uploaded is to help visualize the surface area for the dinnerware. The top rectangle will be for the mug, the two circles for the plates and the bottom rectangle can be ignored for this project. Present your work as 4 dinner plates and 1 mug - with each of the 4 dinner plates having a slightly different design layout. If your design is chosen then we can incorporate the other 3 designs to the mug format. Most important is seeing the plate designs now and getting a feel for the overall set.
