Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need to 'modernise' our current logo. Lifestyle Connections Association Inc. is a disability support service that provides 1:1 support to people with a disability to live and participate in the Cairns community. The disability sector is about to go through a major reform (National Disability Insurance Scheme) and services will need to have a competitive edge to survive.

Colours do not have to be the same as current logo colours. Colours are to be catching, modern and invoke the right emotions.

Lifestyle Connections Association Incorporated is a family governed not for profit organisation. We assist people with a disability in the Cairns Area to plan what support they need to live an ordinary life within their community. We employ support people to assist individuals on a one to one basis to participate in their chosen recreation, leisure and lifestyle activities in generic community settings.

Lifestyle Connections Association Incorporated was founded in January 1993 as an alternative to traditional services which supported people in congregated and segregated settings. We were families who believed that if their family members with a disability were given the right opportunities in life that they could achieve. We wanted them to have the same opportunities enjoyed by the rest of community. We wanted our children to have the chance to succeed and the chance to fail. After all, life’s experiences are what develop us.

Lifestyle Connections Association Incorporated was originally founded to support people in recreational and leisure pursuits only. In 2012 we expanded to include lifestyle support and in 2015 we changed our name to Lifestyle Connections Association Inc. in preparation for the NDIS and to more accurately reflect services offered.
