Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We need a new logo design for a new company that will be selling accessories for smartphones and tablet devices such as the iPhone or iPad as well as popular Samsung Galaxy devices. The most popular line of accessories will be Stylus pens for tablet devices such as iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tablets. If you are not familiar with what a stylus is a Google search for “iPad Stylus” would be helpful.
Our customers demographic consists of young professionals with disposable income. They tend to be "cool" and “trendy”.
The logo will be used on the company's website, retail packaging, product display stands as well as the products themselves.
The name should be visible and readable from afar so that you can read the brand name on a display stand or retail box from 20 feet away.
It also needs to be designed in such a way that the logo can scale up or down in size. For example, some products that may have the logos printed on them are small items such as Stylus pens (which are similar in size to a regular pen).
The logo needs the ability to be scaled down to the point where it is still recognizable on the product yet not make the product look like a promotional item.
Considering that the name is letter intensive we are open to having the logo be a “Pictorial/Combination Logo” where the Pictorial portion can be separated from the Word Mark logo. In this instance the letters “PT” could (but do not necessarily need to) be used for the Pictorial section.
I think the key to this logo would be to come up with a design that stands out, appeals to a young and trendy crowd (Apple Fan boys for the lack of a better term), highlights the Word Mark but at the same time is able to be used in a variety of ways such as described above.
The brand name is “Precision Touch™” and it can have a pictorial component which can be abbreviated as “PT” for the pictorial section of the logo.

I would like to thank everybody for taking the time to submit some excellent designs. While reviewing the current submissions, I felt that it might make sense for me to provide some additional feedback.
- Please keep the logo designs to 2 colors max. One color is preferred.
- Please do not use gradients since they will not be visible on small designs. Neither will intricate details.
- Since this logo will be printed on stylus pens we might not have enough room to have the pictorial part of the design printed above the word mark, so I think it would make sense to have the pictorial to the left of the words "PRECISION TOUCH(TM)"
- Our first project will be to have these designs printed on high end Stylus pens. It is important that the designs are on the "elegant" side.
