Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for our school.

Some attempts that have been made to produce a logo; but it's not quite right. Download examples below. While the earlier logo attempts capture of the magic of our school, they are TOO COMPLEX, too many foreground symbols that make it hard to read from far away. Therefore, we want a BLACK & WHITE rendering of this concept that is simple, yet magical, and can also be translated into a colorful image as well.

1. "Original Sketch" is the imagery that I came up with as a basis for a logo.

2. "...withchildren" definitely all capture more of the quality we are going for, but still too complex for a logo.

3. A few quick sketches of the concept we like

This is something that we want for posters, business cards, letterhead, website header, banner etc. so it would need to look good at various sizes, in black and white and ideally color. Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Key Elements: Tree with relaxed yet aware child held by the roots. Roots and tree create a circular frame for the logo.
• Qualities: Timeless, mythic, joyous and innocent, yet powerful and deep.

Schön zu haben

• Additional Elements, that can be added (listed from most desired to least desired): Heron (in sky, on the ground?), water flowing through, Sun/Moon, multiple children, plants, mountains
• Again, it is key that the logo does not become too busy, but cleanly integrates all chosen elements in a black and white design and color.
• The alternative would be to create something fresh from the designer's own imagination that speaks to the essence Nature's Mystery Awareness School.
• Maybe have more than one child at different ages.

Sollte nicht haben

• Be too generic or have a corporate feel.
• It should not have a night sky like in the examples because we are day school and children would not be attending our school at night.
