Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hello,
we currently have a logo but are looking to make it more professionalized and something that you could put on apparel and SELL. I like the current concept of the design with the basketball and the red converse shoes hanging. But I would like the graphic work to be a little stronger. Also, I am a fan of old school cartoon design things. So my hope was for the logo to be more professionalized and clean, but at the same time have a retro cartoon feel. The hope is to grow the brand into a Basketball-Surf lifestyle brand since we are located in San Diego California and host a lot of events on beach basketball courts. So keep the beach basketball lifestyle in mind when working on the design. Thanks for your time and help,
