Hello,

You sent me an invitation to submit to your contest yesterday. I accepted, and have spent the morning coming up with a design. Unfortunately I can't submit as you have closed the contest early. As a courtesy I would have appreciated a message to that effect rather than wasting several hours of my time.

Hi . Congrats with your new logo but we hope that you considered waiting for other entries from designers you sent invites like me . We spent hours working on the design and didn't even have the chance to submit it .

Hello Gr4pika,

If it's any help I share your feeling. It's not really fair to be invited to a contest and spend time, in good faith, then not have the opportunity to submit. Congratulations and no ill-feeling to the winner of course, but as far as I'm concerned I'm left with a bad feeling towards the contest holder. Complete lack of respect for designers, in my opinion. They need to change the rules on this site or else we are all going to walk. Feel your your frustration!
