Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

There is an brief Update I want to make. I'm seeing a great deal of Cardinals, before, on, around, atop the words MapleFell. I suggested that because that was the best I could come up with, but that isn't the only option we are open to. Think animals of the forest, squirrels, foxes, owls, bears, or deer. Also keep in mind that this logo must be able to be forged out of metal to be placed atop our gates to our property, so that requires a bit of Masculinity to pull off. Having said that we are not looking to market to hunters, but Brides-to-be and families that want to get away from the city. We are in the country but we are marketing to bring a touch of "Cabin Chic" to the area. Having said that, please read original brief...


We are in need of a Logo our forest retreat in Western New York.
We have created a remote destination in the Enchanted Mountains of New York State. We are looking to market this retreat for events as well as short term rentals where our guests can come and disconnect from their hectic lives and reconnect with their families, nature and the world around them. Logo will be used on all formal correspondence, both digital and paper. We also plan to build a gate to the entrance of the retreat with the sprawling logo overhead forged in metal. The logo should incorporate the color RED along with either a cardinal, maple leaf or both. (just suggestions not limitations) Please be creative on forest creature usage. We have an affinity to the Cardinal but aren't restricted to it. Font should be a script.

The name is MapleFell, one word with the "M" and "F" capitalized. The final design should communicate a simple, serene, sophisticated connection to nature,

Muss haben

• Use a touch of Red as an accent. Please use Alpine, Montague or Kensington Script please. If you think you have some font similar to these three you are welcome to submit an example.

Schön zu haben

• Cardinal, Maple leaves, fox, or deer... any forest animal that helps us achieve the Serene, simple sophisticated connection to nature. I'm updating this because my previous description was too specific and we were getting too much of the same ideas, so, this is your chance to show us something we weren't thinking of. We do Love the Cardinal though. Very interested in representations of Two's please.
• Love to have some ideas of Two Cardinals intwined in flight, similar to the yin and yang but not black and white but rather shades of red, black and grey. I have uploaded a picture for inspiration...Remember, do not want to have an obvious Yin and Yang but a "ariel shot" of the the two bird circling in flight, balance and the dynamic colors are a want. Please don't place the image within a circle.
• The Idea of Two Stags is resonating well with the partners too. Find a way to bring that to the paper and we will love to work further with you.
• If the concept is good, we are also up to fanciful Ideas too. A fox shooting a maple leaf with a bow and arrow, a fox head made from a maple leaf, or a cardinal that is made out a maple leaf. I've uploaded ideas in the image section.
