Buchumschlag Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a book cover for my autobiography, "Markings of a Butterfly: A Journey of Natural Healing from Lupus." It is the story about the path I took to heal myself completely from lupus and dialysis using Naturopathic Medicine, Chinese Medicine, and mindfulness meditation.

The book is written in 1st person narrative, intertwined with fictionalized encounters with a spiritual teacher, Mountainheart, (similar to Socrates in "The Way of the Peaceful Warrior") who reflects the world back to me through different lens so that I can find my path. She is described as youthful and vibrant in her spirit and demeanor, though physical characteristics show she has salt and pepper hair.

I am an androgynous Asian woman in her mid-20's when illness started. Book covers ~10 years of story with a post-script that is 5-6 years from end of the main story.

Book will be self-published, about 330 pages, 6" x 9" (not sure of spine size).

Themes in the book are:
-- "A diagnosis is simply a marker on the road signifying where the path diverges."
-- learning how to read the MARKINGS from our life to find our own paths out of whatever health challenges or difficulty in life
-- butterfly represents metamorphosis; healing at our core can change us completely, stepping into our spiritual truths: “Do you know butterflies digest themselves inside their cocoon prior to their transformation? That takes total commitment and trust.”
-- the struggle to balance conventional medicine with natural healing; success came only after fully committing to natural healing
-- spiritual warriorship

This is my first book -- so I need everything under "book cover" to submit to my publisher. Design credit will be given if desired.
