Our rapidly growing nonprofit needs a re-brand.
Our nonprofit, Rescue Pink, is a nonprofit in India that is funded by donors and corporations from the United States. We rescue girls in India from female infanticide, trafficking and bonded labor. We do this through rescue, prevention and awareness. We provide rescue for infants and little girls saving them from death, malnutrition, lack of healthcare, child marriage and trafficking. We work hard to empower mothers to take care of their girls by giving them business training and a micro-loan to help them succeed. All of our mothers have more than doubled their house-hold income with a 100% re-payment rate on their loans. We work at creating awareness around the fact that India is missing over 50 million little girls because of infanticide or early death of its girls.
We are looking for a sleek, clean logo (not busy). It should incorporate pink but the logo does not have to be overtly feminine. We specifically do not want a gradient in the logo. It can be multiple colors but they need to be solid colors. We need something that can be useful in color but can be changed to one color and still work. (Please see the "should not have's" below).
We like emblem/text logos where the emblem could stand alone and be used as a watermark on the corners of photos etc., to identify us. Much like the water can for the nonprofit, Charity water.
Please avoid looking too girly or in any way childish. We want a classy design that is appealing to wealthy donors (male or female and corporate). This design will go on all our marketing material but also on tshirts worn by male and female so please refrain from using anything with girls or silhouettes of girls/women - we know we rescue girls and women, but think outside the box on this so we can market to donors of both genders.
