Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hey there. My name is Alex and i'm a german carpenter who just got his master craftman's certificate.
With the new qualification it is time to start my own, small company and therefor i need your help and creativity. I know how to build a house or a roof, but i have no idea how to create a cool and stylish logo...

The logo should be a mixture between the tradition and freshness. Everyday i work with wood, what i really love and so some kind of wood frame construction should be a part of it. During my work i create and build new homes, tiny houses, roofs, carports, terraces and some other things with the material wood.
A mixture of some daily used tools like a carpenters roofing hammer (e.g. a picard 790 latthammer), a square, folding rule, pencil or modern tools like circular saw would be great.
Carpentry is a traditional work which is practised today so my new company logo should be some kind of oldschool combined with the freshness of today.
