Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Spit is the brand name for a new range of skin care products, the first of which is a tattoo healing balm. The feature ingredient is tea tree oil, which has natural anti bacterial and healing properties.

We are looking for a logo and packaging design for this new product, that will appeal to women and men aged 25-55, who care about looking after their new tattoo. Tattoo culture in Australia is quite hipster and very fashionable at the moment. As many women as men get tattoo's, and the average age of a first tattoo is 26. Retro Australian designs are what we have in mind with natural and soft colours. The 1960's and 1970's is a strong fashionable design period in Australia at the moment. The words 'natural' 'Australian' 'botanicals' can all be used in the design. The brand name 'Spit' comes from an Australian saying (just spit on it) or belief that human saliva fixes small cuts and scrapes. The product will also be used with the camping and adventure market, skateboarders, cyclists, fishing and hiking as a simple and natural first aid balm.

The parent company SkinLife, has a range of natural, organic skin care products, all featuring Australian native essential oils, manuka honey and beeswax, Australian olive oils and botanicals to name a few. The container that the balm will be supplied in is a round silver tin. We are looking for a label design for the top of the tin and one that would go on a small acrylic container (wrapped around the glass).
