Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a techno music label called "Planum Polare". We are a new techno music label based on Madrid, Spain. Our industry has a huge competency and the logo and brand image are extremely important. Please look for examples in our industry to know more about what we need. Look for techno labels in Resident Advisor, or Beatport.

What is the meaning of our brand name? The planum polare is located in the brain, is the anterior portion of the superior surface of the temporal lobe ; it is activated when we listen music (although it executes other tasks too, obviously).

We want to transmit innovation, seriousness, modern, emotions, universal connexion between minds and souls through the music.

We want to transmit that we do innovation in music, influenced by the club culture. Stimulate the mind is a moral obligation for us. Our music comes from inside us, to be shared. We design very carefully the sounds, with great quality. New musical structures (formal, harmonic, melodic) that doesn’t need to fit in the music industry. Freedom to compose techno tracks with new techniques.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• You MUST pay attention about logo examples attached.
• Our logo could be:
• - only an image (without the logo text)
• - The image blended with the text
• - Logo text
• Please check the attached file with logo examples that we like.

Schön zu haben

• Probably black and white design fits better with us, but you can also try with colors.

Sollte nicht haben

• - In case you think to draw a brain, please use it more schematic or abstract, nothing too obviously. We don't want to look lice a pharmaceutical company
• - Please don't use guitars, we're an electronic music label
• - We don't like musical notes. If you're going to use some musical notes, it is better to make them abstract. We don't like designs with simply added simple musical notes.
• - We don't like an obvious "play" symbol. Also usually we don't like headphones or vinyl images, unless they are abstract or a very artistic image. We don't want neither a G or a F Clef.
• - We don’t want the logo emphasizing the initials, PP (PP is the name of a political party in our country). We don't want a double PP in the logo. Said that, we've saw a design with very nice P's that doesn't seem like PP. So double P's could be used, but carefully, they shouldn't look something like "PP". If you're going to use it, be warned, probably we won't like it :)
