Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Our company is a start-up Residential Construction Company located in Atlantic Canada. We require a logo design and business card for use in our business.

The company name is 'Vinland Homes,' which is based on the 11th Century Norse explorers who came to Atlantic Canada in places such as L'Anse Aux Meadows. Vinland was their name for the new world, although there is some controversy on the exact location (Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, or Massachusetts). We like the concept of the pioneering/exploring individuals who travelled to North America and want to apply similar pioneering attitudes in our business.

Residential Construction in our market has recently hit an economic boom with many small firms becoming huge in a matter of months. Most of these companies are very old-school in focus, without basic websites and certainly without any social media presence. They are overwhelmed with the demand and thus not focusing on long-term client satisfaction since they already have too much business to deal with.

We plan to offer high-value homes to families and young professionals with an eye towards avoiding the cookie cutter designs used by so many other builders. We will demonstrate that you can provide a high-quality, high-value home while maintaining a strong sense of style and uniqueness for the homeowners.
