Hi! This contest sounds terrific!
Would you like a full body Illustration?Are you looking for a realistic portrait of any of the photos or it could be a cartoon that may be articulating other gesture or position? What did you mean by silly? Not too cartoonish? Cause the statues are cartoonish already. They remind me of Kevingston's cartoons :D which are awesome!!!

I am going to use this design as a face of my company, I saw your Profile and I have to say I am very impressed your illustrations are lovely. I really do not want to hinder you on this design but I also have to say you do not need to make the statues your inspiration for these designs. Those are very old and to be honest quite outdated, If you are going to make a design Let me suggest something modern and something that will connect with its audience. It could be anything you like, A soldier in action or maybe just standing guard it is up to you.
The only thing I want to make clear is that the pictures I uploaded of the statues show them to have an oversized head and it makes them looks like a caricature, Please don't make them like that. I want it to be a good mascot for my brand. Anyways even after so many instructions I want to maintain that I do not want to hinder your creative abilities, So try making something of it and thanks for the interest.
