Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I created Saint Michael Consulting a few years ago in order to start my consulting business. Business is doing fine and I now have to rebrand. The original name has two main issues. First it has a religious connotation that is not always appropriate. And most importantly it doesn’t tell what we do.
Hence the need to change name and logo.
I have no inspiration for names, so decided to go simply with SMC.
But I now need a logo to convey the message of what we do.
SMC is a data science consulting practice.
We are all mathematicians specialized in data analytics to support decision making.We surf on the wave of Big Data. We specialized in predictive modelling. But we tackle all the spectrum, from reporting, business intelligence to prescriptive modelling.
If you have data and suspect it has value but don’t know where to start, or if you decided to move ahead on having a data driven company, we are here to help.
We cover the three aspects of data analysis: (1) we help designing or refining the company strategy, (2) we analyze and model data and (3) we help you implementing the results of the analysis in order to ensure you make the best possible educated decision.
We need a logo that would convey the ideas of strategic thinking, data, analysis, mathematics, knowledge, decision making.
I attached the current name and logo, as well as ideas for new logos I had so far.Also attached a brief description of what the company does. The current website is

All companies, corporations and institutions in need for data analytics: financial institutions, telcos,. transportation, hospitality, e-business, etc, energy, governments.
The company headquarter is in Canada but works internationally: USA, South America, Europe, Africa...

• a symbolic reference to data analysis: scatter plot, bell curve, regression, math symbols...
• or metaphors to strategic decision making: chess (overused), Go...

Sollte nicht haben

• Please avoid the autogenerated logos, just playing with font styles but with no meanings. As per above, ideally it should symbolically convey the idea of data analysis.
