We need an advertisement to help build the profile of Dean Walker, Senior Consultant and Director at 'WAX Consulting Group'.
What we want to promote:
Our Senior Consultant and Director, Dean Walker as expert on all matters China related.
Who are we promoting to:
Industry associations and networking groups.
Why:
Many organisations are interested in reaching the Chinese market, however don't know who to go to or who to trust. With many consultants out there trying to claim they offer a similar service, WAX would like to promote Dean as a genuine expert in the field and the 'go to' person on all things China business related. To do this, we are in the process of building Dean's national and international profile, which includes advertising Dean expertise to industry associations and networking groups so that they consider booking Dean as a key note speaker at conferences. We know that our target audience are more inclined to seek the advice of someone they have seen speak at a conference than to find someone in the Yellow pages or via google search.
A Bit about Dean Walker:
Dean Walker has lived, worked and studied in China for extended periods, speaks and writes fluently in Chinese, was formerly a Member of the Victorian Government Services Export Advisory Council, is a member of the Academy of International Business and is a member of the Australian China Business Council to name a few. To add to his credentials, Dean has by invitation lectured for 5 consecutive years in Management and Economics at Masters Level to students at Hong Kong University.
Dean’s qualifications include: Bachelor of Arts (Asian Studies), Bachelor of Business (Applied Economics – International Trade), Master of Business in Applied Economics (International Business) and currently completing a Doctor of Business Administration (International Business Management) which has an economics focus and researches the export of Australian professional services to China.
Dean has been the Principal Consultant for a number of WAX’s clients including the recent assignment commissioned by Victorian based company SCT Logistics, who have benefited from a $40 million deal with China South Rail (CSR). This project has also resulted in CSR, China’s largest train manufacturer decision to set up offices in Victoria.
Dean is an expert in Australia/China Business relations and has been paramount to the success of numerous international business transactions. As mentioned, Dean is not only fluent in spoken and written Mandarin, but is also a bi-cultural expert (meaning he knows both Australian and Chinese) cultures. From Australian and Chinese history, art, food and more, Dean Walker provides his clients with more than translation services.

Good afternoon designers
Thank you for your submissions so far. We are happy with some of the designs that have come in, however, many of you have produced flyers that have too much information in it. We are looking for something more concise that does not appear to be either a copy of information I have posted in this brief or a fancy looking resume for Dean Walker.
Please remember, we are communicating to event co-ordinators who are looking to appoint guest speakers at an upcoming conference. They want someone who is going to discuss some of the 'hot topics' their audience are interested in, someone who is experienced in the topic and someone who is interesting. We need to communicate all of this in a concise, and creative way so that we can make Dean Walker stand out above the rest.
