Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are founding a new nonprofit in the state of Mississippi called the Mississippi Education Accelerator - MSEA for short. We would like to see a logo that is modern, professional, and clean; one that gives a nod to education but is not blatantly education-related or K-12 focused (no pencils, apples, arithmetic symbols, etc.). We are open to a text-only logo or a logo mark for the organization with the words Mississippi Education Accelerator beneath/beside the mark. Please note that the partners we will work most closely with are http://empowerms.org/ (blue and orange) and http://mississippifirst.org/ (blue and red), so our brand needs to be complementary to but distinctive from theirs in terms of both design and color palette - maybe we are blue and green. (Open to other ideas.)
