Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking to engage your passion and talent to create a logo design for us that embodies the culture of our new artisan flour milling company (Black Fox Flour) to capture the hearts of our passionate customers.

A bit about us:
We are taking a stand against lifeless commercial flour and we are focusing on the key things that will bring life back into flour (e.g. heirloom grains, stone milling in small batches, drastically reducing the time from milling to the customer to preserve quality and taste). We want the customer to feel part of a movement and be inspired by both the product itself and the experience that surrounds the product.

Our purpose and values:
Our purpose is simple...to Nourish. Our values extend from our purpose
1) Nourish health (i.e. vitality)
2) Nourish community (i.e. relationships)
3) Nourish mind (i.e. learning)
4) Nourish passion (i.e. spirit)
5) Nourish excellence (i.e. integrity)

Why we chose the name:
We chose the name Black Fox Flour for the black foxes that live around our home and that we see every day. To us, the black fox symbolizes cleverness, quickness, playfulness, togetherness/family/community, dedication, focus, and perseverance. The fox also bring to mind nature and the balance it plays in nature. (i.e. picture of foxes in the fields [of grain])

The emotional chord we want to strike with our brand and logo:
We would like the logo to symbolize the artisan nature of the flour perhaps through the characterization of the fox and/or through the font (i.e. artisan style font) or other artisan-related elements. When people see the logo, they should feel a positive emotion that is like "finding an oasis" of wholesomeness, nourishment, and integrity (i.e. care and pride). Through the product we create, and the experience surrounding the product, we are looking to empower passionate food creatives who take immense pride in the food they prepare (i.e. the food they create is an expression of who they are and what they stand for).
