Yes, we're looking for illustrations in the form of an infographic, check out this page for some inspiration http://dailyinfographic.com/. Infographics are visual representations of data, hence the ABS mention in the brief...find some interesting statistics and turn them into a cool illustration that shows what Australian means to you. Definitely room for something funny :)

I think the website doesn't let anyone but people who live in Australia post into this project? While I am Australian, I have been traveling and working around Europe for the past year...so I'm guessing the website has recognised that the region I'm in, is Europe?

Is there an option to show my passport somewhere? haha

Thanks for your question, yes, it's not an easy project but you don't have to be Australian at all to join this contest.

Suggest you choose one theme or idea and then apply it across different contexts or dimensions. E.g. you could pick that Australia was a nation of settlers and convicts, that we have unique animals and plants, or that Australia is surrounded by the ocean. Australia is multicultural with people from China to Brazil living together. We have a resource-rich economy but we used to believe our wealth 'rode on the sheep's back' ie. agriculture. Often people associate 'Australian food' to mean lamingtons, pavlova, meat pies and beers.
