Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

For the new brand logo e need two different designs:

1. Logo name: Maui NZ - Logo for a new brand of diving products (wetsuits, masks, snorkels, dive knives, catch bags, weight belts, dive boots & gloves etc).
I have uploaded a logo idea that I did (and like) so I am happy for you to just recreate my design or alter it if you can make it better. Or, I would love to see your design if you can create something better than what I did.

If you do a new design and there is a symbol/picture, the picture should be smaller than the word MAUI.

2. Plus - I also need a New Zealand Maori tattoo looking design to go down the sleeve of the wetsuit. (must be black and white) I Have uploaded a SKETCH that I have done that would work as the tattoo - if you could perfect the drawing. I have also uploaded some other photos of Maori tattoos for extra inspiration in case you want it. This tattoo design will go down the wetsuit sleeve from shoulder to elbow.

Colour for main logo - it will probably be best in all black (with an option for it to be all white) or maybe black with a small pop of another colour (red?)

Why the logo name Maui? Maui comes from New Zealand legends (like many pacific nations) Maui is known as a descendant of the gods of the sea and the land and he is said to have created New Zealand by fishing the north island out of the water whilst in his canoe. A very masculine name and idea.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Must be bold and masculine and "cool" - something suitable to be printed on the front of wetsuits. Something that makes people want to buy the wetsuit!

Schön zu haben

• Something that makes you think of
• THE OCEAN and/or
• NEW ZEALAND (not kiwi bird or All Blacks fern - see "should not haves) and/or
• DIVING (scuba or free/skin diving)

Sollte nicht haben

• I do not want the kiwi bird in the logo.
• I do not want the fern that is associated with the rugby team the All Blacks.
• Also should not have a turtle as we do not have turtles in NZ ocean.
