Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking for a set of logos for a new company that we are starting called "Hacker Gear". It is a Clothing and lifestyle brand for people in the tech industry. Mainly software developers, data scientists, and UX / UI talent. We need a logo that is both creative and intelligent. Something that plays on the type of work we do. We are hackers at heart who do what it takes to build things that work. We are very clever types and therefore need to associate ourselves with clever branding.

The Brand Identity for the brand should be sophisticated, clever and have grit all at the same time. The products themselves will be stylish, utilitarian and MOST importantly comfortable to work in.

People will have a very close affinity with the brand because when they wear our clothing or use our products, they are wearing them because they are comfy. Techies like to be recognized for their talent so they also want people to be able to know what they do just by being seen. When someone is seen wearing our brand, it has to make the viewer think "oh.. okay... This person is a rockstar Dev. They are talented, a master of their craft".

We are open to words, symbols, a combination of both. the font choices should be stylish and contemporary and have to make sense for the audience.

The logo can use any combination of the words/symbols that make up the words "HACKER" and "GEAR"

please use your artistic liberties with this assignment. That is why we are here.

The concepts included in the files are really just rough ideas that our team thought of on the fly. We obviously are not a designers, so please expand on them, change them, do whatever.

Please make magic and blow us away with your work.

We will have more work to follow and prefer working with people that we have existing relationships with. This is what we are looking build here. A relationship with a great designer.

• Must be appealing to the developer community. Must be clever. Must make the onlooker know that the person wearing the logo is a talented person. The brand stands for excellence. The logo is a dev talent calling card. Like when a person wears Vans you know they are a skater.

• Would be nice to see some creative ideas if any of the designers understand coding.
• maybe making use of some of the symbols that coders use in writing code or possibly something that makes them think of writing code.
