Web-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Introduction
We are an art gallery carrying artworks by contemporary African artists. We require a new, more modern website for our gallery.

The website idea. The key words we’d like to use to describe our website are - elegant, simple, uncluttered, easy to navigate, classy, interesting.

We’d like a website that is as uncluttered as possible; a simple, elegant website that lets viewers carry out the business of viewing our artworks online as easily as possible. A web site that is adventurous and arty without being complicated.

Our logo is a monochrome dark grey colour but this should not affect the colour scheme of the website. We are also open to a new logo if it is decidedly better than what we have at present, and would be willing to pay additionally for it if we take it.

Our audience is international. Art collectors worldwide looking for contemporary art. We do not want any African themed design.


Sections
The home page will have various sections – Artists, New Works, Publication, Mailing list, Exhibitions

Requirement
We'd like a a home page template as well as a template for the sections in HTML.

We do not have a regular coder so we'd be happy to have the winning designer carry on with fitting the rest of the site to the template if the price is right.
