Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Modern, simple, legible cursive, island hibiscus flower 🌺 included. I have a sample of an idea I'd like and could send. My idea includes one big "G" and it's used for both the Gourmet and Guam, font is shadowed on an oval boarder, the flower is placed at the end of Guam. My design has the illusion of a floating oval with Gourmet Guam centered and diagonal that is shadowed like a cut out. I'm very open to suggestions and want to see what other ideas are out there.

We bought a popcorn company and have turned it into a dessert shop and would like to update the logo to be more modern and exciting. A pic of the old logo is attached along with my logo idea.
