Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are looking for a logo to use as a launch icon for a new smart phone app, Scrumblr, that will also feature throughout our brand and marketing campaign.

Srumblr provides scrumptious day-to-day meal planning and cooking. With a fun "game" like feel for finding meals, coupled with practical aspects of shopping, money saving, health, quantity guidelines and cooking tips – it aims to attract and build day-to-day usage for meal planning. Scrumblr will feature rich, high fidelity content and design throughout.

The icon must have a broad market appeal, covering the full spectrum of users from individuals, parents to group cooks. The icon should be of a simple design, cartoony in nature, using bright primary colors.

The icon must be representative of a cutting edge technology start-up with a motto “simplicity with technology”.

The icon is initially going to be used as a Launch icon on the Android mobile phone environment and the icon needs to look great to make it standout on the phone against all other applications and within its App Store.

See attached for some android examples and also some android background templates. Note -all the icons are simple, eye catching and embody the purpose of the app.

Ultimately, the icon should draw the user into the application, and the user should immediately think Scrumptious tasty food - in the words of Homer J. Simpson, "mmm scrumbl".
