many designers here wont take on projects for which the customer has not guaranteed the payment.
reason being that often times people will come here simply on a free idea fishing trip. never having had any intention of paying anyone.

if you guaranty your payment. i promise the designs will start flooding in...

Thanks for the tip. The project was posted within the last 30 minutes so I'm not surprised to have no submission yet. Once i get comfortable with the caliber of submissions from design crowd im sure ill be more comfortable guranteeing payment. But as my first project, i'm not there yet.

i've been watching this site for years now. i'll share what i've learned.

- there are many great designers here. but the really good ones won't take on non-guaranteed projects. it's simply not worth the added risk of wasted time.
- no matter what your price or guaranty is, the bulk of the submissions will be nonsensical garbage from teenagers from the likes of turqcrapistan.
- on a non-guaranteed project, the ratio of good designs to garbage will be about 1 in 50
- guaranteed projects will be about 5 in 50
