Top sleuthing sD, you do moan a lot btw, and in this case I disagree with you. The ''r ''blending INTO the ''m'' is the concept with this winning design, creating the illusion of the ''rm'' together. The other logo is just an ''r'' with an ''m'' added, there is no concept to the Ryder Maintenance logo. As far as copyright/intellectual properties are concerned unless you''re trying to copyright, what looks like Optima  ''r''s and ''m''s'' then good luck.

Fact of the matter is that the CH has been designer duped by quasi clever design which as designers we have seen a million times before.
 Oh look,  how clever, the ''r'' running into the ''m'''' the CH can be heard thinking, whereas this design lends no creedance to his actual USP of readymesh,/green/ico concrete works, the winning design could be a myriad of differing companies the way its been designed, no nod to anything pertinent in the brief.

I wouldnt bitch on this open board by the way sD, contact Alec if you have a gripe, as you say if your onus is on a professional manner, then I would say that this open forum board is not the place to gripe, ergo not professional. Live and let live, there are plenty of more contests/ fish in the sea etc etc
