Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo design for a new appraisal company in Central Kansas, call 'Ad Astra Appraisal' (Comes from the Kansas State Moto). The appraisal company will focus on agricultural related appraisals on both real estate and personal property. The design needs to have the ability to be both in color and in black and white as well as be both large and small depending on the application without losing any of its characteristics.
I would like the logo to incorporate 3 stars (I have 3 daughters) along with stocks of wheat. I need something simple and professional. I have attached an idea below. This is a simple idea, but hopefully gives you an idea that I am looking for. I have also attached an example of the wheat that I think would be good on the logo. These are just examples.
