Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need to give the old logo in attachments a facelift. It represents crossroads but needs a more modern feel to it. The black lines could go dark grey and it's optional to play with the type of red color used in the middle. The logo also needs to look good in black and white. The logo represents counseling service for people that are on crossroads in their education or careers.
