I like the look of your current logo, however I must say it is very unprofessional, you are right about line widths being disproportionate and I would like to point out, if you haven't already noticed, the rounded corners not being uniform.

I have fixed those issues and have reworked the logo into your chosen styles. I have also unified the text of the image so that the gold shimmer flows across the words instead of being confined to the individual letters, this helps the gold effect actually seem like it is golden.
