Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

BCScTA is currently looking for a strong branding message to convey to BC Teachers, science partners, community groups, political groups and other stakeholders.

The BC Science Teachers’ Association exists to:
-Promote excellence and innovation in science education throughout British Columbia
-Contribute to the improvement of curriculum and instruction in science education
-Provide recommendations and advice regarding science education
-Ensure that there is a clear and meaningful connection between science education and the needs of society today and in the future

Muss haben

• The logo must be:
• -work in both color and black & white applications
• -have an icon that works both with or without “BCScTA” or “British Columbia Science Teachers’ Association” as components of the design.

Schön zu haben

• Multiple aesthetics at play. One member is a fan of negative space designs while I like more minimal logos, so you have freedom to create something you find interesting using the logo styles I checked off. As well, feel free to see what submissions I have liked (4 or 5 stars) so far.

• Clichés related to science:
• -atomic models
• -dna strands
• -graduation caps
• -people
• -books
• unless there is clear justification for their inclusion in the design and description in your submission.
