Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I have a basic and simplicatic logo in mind already (See attached). However I want it digitized in adobe illustrator with much more detail. While the logo will spell out "gullak", I want a giraffe to be popping out of the "g". The expression of the giraffe is such that he is pleasantly and mysteriously surprised to see the screen of his mobile phone which he is holding by his tail. The mobile phone is not a new generation smart phone (iphone etc..), but the old generation feature phone (think simple nokia).

Furthermore, if I isolate the "g" and the giraffe popping out of it, then this should fit the purpose of an icon (for when I launch an iphone or adroid app)

The color scheme I have in mind is reds, oranges, yellow, and browns.
