Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for a new company called 'Sharp Solutions Limited'.
The 'Limited' can be abbreviated to 'Ltd'.
We do non destructive testing and repair of concrete (mainly cracks).
Colors I'm thinking are red and black, however this logo will be used on business cards, invoices, website and shirts. The shirts will be of a dark color (ie. blue) so the logo colors need to have reasonable contrast as to be easily recognized. I'm open to two sets of colors, one for light backgrounds and one for dark backgrounds.
I'm looking for clean and simple lines, not calligraphy

Some thoughts I've had are:
-a 3d cube with an 'S' on two sides
-two 'S' interlinked
-a pointed shape behind the word 'Sharp'
