Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a 4 year old dynamic ambitious concertchoir with 120 singers, with great unity, lots of fun and concentration. We love performing, and we focus on making a difference in our community, singing also for charity. Our style is contemporary Gospelmusic. We are not associated with a specific church in Denmark and our expression is Love, Soul and Giving with energy, music and sharing our profit.

We love making surprising performances and events, and our current logo has been a (not original!) heart coming out of a hand (see att pic). We usually go for powerful colors like red and purple, and we have been using the font "Ravie" for our name. We perform in black.

BUT! we were recently aware that our logo is associated with the pedophile logo, and this of course made us want to change it immediately.

We therefore seek an updated and personal logo that can work both with and without the name "SoulSingers", which should be part of the logo-idea: We would like a colorpalette and suggestions for fonts for stationary and our online Visual Identity (primarily FB and web-page).

As you can see (also attached), we have often used our current logo painted on our hands for concerts in red or flurescent, being able to create great and surprising effects during our performances. We would love a logo, that connects heart, soul and hand - that is easily understood and received by audience and can be used creatively for example painted on our hands - since this has become a trademark for us. Being 120 people with painted hands has a great impact and memorable effect.

We have attached a lot of pictures to give the atmosphere of the choir and our usuage of current logo and colors. We hope to not go somewhere completely different, but we need an update that is ours to show, and does not create unwanted associations.

We are so exited to communicate with you talented designers from all over the world in creating a unique logo with soul, love and generosity!

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• An "easy to replicate", memorable and recognizable ICON, that can stand alone or be used together with the name SoulSingers in a modern font (we have used Ravie so far, and that works fine, so we can no problem continue with this).
• We prefer if this ICON is some unique version of a heart, and if possible can be drawn on the palm for effects at concerts.

Schön zu haben

• Ideas on how to set up this logo as a header, facebook event etc.
• We sometimes use a sub-title (pay-off) for the choir:
• In English "We sing from our soul"
• In Danish: "Vi synger fra sjælen"
• The word GospelChoir can also be used as a payoff

Sollte nicht haben

• We are not interested in logos wihout a clear icon, or icons that are too complicated.
