Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We are looking for an iconic general logo for our new company Monk & Punk, where we can add descriptive text for each business. IE Monk & Punk Apparel, Monk & Punk Publishing, Monk & Punk Media, etc See *Notes below for more detail.
The logo needs to be non industry specific, allowing us to move into different fields. It needs to have a "Wow" factor. It wouldn't look out of place on a t shirt. Its instantly recognizable.
Style - Modern, Young, colourful. Abstract is fine.
Their are very few limitations. Create to your hearts content.
Please no clipart.

As an example of a general logo for different companies, I have uploaded 2 images.
1_Virgin - is the original logo
2_Virgin_Logos - a selection of different virgin businesses and their logos.
You will see images of "Virgin" logos. Virgin, Virgin Media, Virgin Trains etc. Though they may be different they are all based on the original logo. I want you to design the original logo.
To be clear its not the actual logo I want you to emulate, its the idea of an iconic original logo that can be used for different businesses.

Hello everybody,
We are half way through this project and I thought I would give an update with some feedback.
On the whole I am delighted with the submissions.
The submissions that have been eliminated tend to have a number of items in common.
1. I asked for colour, so black & white images are quickly discarded.
2. By colour, I meant multi-colour (my error for not being clearer) so monochrome designs on the whole are being eliminated.
3. I gave the Virgin logos solely as an example of a business with multiple companies, and stressed that I did not want you to emulate it.
Therefore any virgin look a like logos have also been eliminated.
4. Please don't use red as a primary colour. Its fine as a secondary colour, but please don't make it the main colour.
My favourite designs tend to have images and/or are multi-coloured.

As a main colour please do not use red or green. I don't mind them as secondary colours
