Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

STEM is an emerging curriculum that integrates four key areas as one discipline – science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Next year, Brisbane will host the 5th International STEM in Education Conference in Brisbane, Australia. Please see the conference website and current logo design here - https://stem-in-ed2018.com.au/

What we are seeking is a re-design of the current STEM logo and wording. There is some key criteria that we’d like followed as part of this re-design:

1. The new logo must tie in well with the feature image being used. Please find this attached to the brief.
2. The new logo must utilise the same pink brand colour (#eb008b) as this has already been integrated throughout the website and associated documents.
3. The wording included in the logo must stay the same.
4. There should be a reverse version of the logo available to overlay onto block colours and the less busy areas of the feature image.

Other comments:

1. It’s important for us to demonstrate that STEM is a four-part discipline (see the tree images in the current logo that symbolise this) however, this should not be the most prominent feature of the logo. We only want to allude it to it in a subtle way – perhaps something more faded / a watermark look.

2. The logo needs to look modern and cutting-edge. This is an important educational discipline that demonstrates innovation and technological advances. This needs to come through in the logo design. Please find attached two additional images - one that our clients like that she feels is "futuristic looking" and another for an idea of how to demonstrate the four key areas.
