Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Looking for a new modern looking logo. Our current logo is attached just for reference but don't let it hinder your ideas. I am looking for a logo that is simple and modern. Easy to adapt to uniforms, truck lettering and wraps, and a corporate identity. I am kinda of thinking along the lines a mechanical contractor I know of that has a little hardhat logo that they put on their hats and everything and everybody knows thats them. http://gmci.com/ but again I am open and maybe you have another idea.
