Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
Breakthrough Foundry Logo Project
We are looking for a logo for our web application in development. We have a placeholder logo, but it's not exactly what we are looking for.
The name of the application is the Breakthrough Foundry. It's goal is to provide an environment for creatives to come together to collaborate on problem-solving - to be a place where breakthroughs are created.
We like the style and feel and power of some of the old WPA work posters (see some examples we like).
We also like to have some sense of molten metal being poured and forged (we have some examples) - this is something that doesn't exist in our current logo.
We don't necessarily need to have an image of an anvil.
Ideally, some key component of this larger, horizontal logo could be pulled out into a square icon - just to help the design process.
We would like bold colors and contrasts - and our CSS headers will be adjusted to match the prominent logo colors.
We are NOT interested in photo-real imagery.
Another image that could work is the idea of perhaps a lightbulb image... perhaps as one of the letters of the text or maybe alone... it could serve as the crucible for the molten "foundry" metal.
