The goal of the logo is do be immediately identifiable with steel frame portal structures.

Although very good, there is no relevance to this in most of your proposals. Look at some Google images for "portal frame structures" for inspiration. Also look at our existing logo.

There's no relevance because not many designers are going to put in the effort to research your companies identity with the little chance they might get payed(maybe).

You have hundreds of designs by dozens of people trying to take shots in the dark.You wanted cheaper crowdsourced artwork, that's the disadvantage.

Im going to submit something. I looked up the portal frame structures and designed a logo inspired by the shapes.
