Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a new logo design for a new business that will cover general financial education and literacy. This will be a social media oriented business and I am looking primarily for a logo that can be used in Twitter, Youtube, etc.

The final design should reflect growth, promise, potential and an exponential curve upwards. Perhaps a caricature of a stock chart (see attached file picturing the S&P 500 index) with short term peaks and crashes, but a long term exponential growth. I must stress the exponential growth concept is a core idea in the material I will be presenting to my clients, customers, etc.

(Don't know if this is helpful or not but...) I am fond of old style fonts where the numbers have varying heights and alignments. I'm Inspired by history and in particular ancient Roman history, and US history. There is an element of a long time horizon that parallels my interest in history (this is not about any get rich quick schemes). Growth over time is a key concept.

My first inclination is utilize a Navy blue color scheme, but am very open and curious to see other designs, color schemes, etc. I'm also fond of gold, silver, etc.

I've attached some images that are inspiration and/or point in the direction I would like to go.
