Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo that can be embedded into a web page and study documents and patient questionnaires for a randomized clinical trial we are planning to conduct soon. The clinical trial will recruit patients with acute low back pain and study treatments for preventing the transition between short-term (acute) back pain into long-term (chronic) back pain. The study will specifically be comparing patient-reported outcomes of pain and physical functioning over the course of one year after being randomized to either be treated with usual medical care, chiropractic care (SMT: spinal manipulation therapy), and/or supportive self management (SSM, which may be thought of as providing patients with mental or physical activities that they can use on a daily basis to improve their back pain). Patients may be randomized to any of these treatments, so ideally the logo would not focus much on the treatment but more so on the underlying condition of back pain. The logo will be seen by patients in the study (age 18 to 85), research staff and investigators at academic recruitment centers across the United States (University of Minnesota, University of Pittsburgh, University of Washington), and by the National Institutes of Health... therefore, we prefer a logo that is adaptable to wide audience. The logo can contain either the short study acronym and/or longer title, but otherwise we do not have specific stylistic guidance or preferences on color or font or additional graphics.
