Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

This is for a logo that will be used on electrical equipment for power control/ renewable energy, so needs to be simple enough that it will still look good when printed monochrome. I would like the logo to have the text 'AJB' with 'POWER' in smaller lettering, and maybe with a single sine-wave somehow incorporated into the graphic. I'm not sure whether or not to include the word 'POWER', I'm open to suggestions on this one. Maybe the logo could be designed in such a way that the word 'POWER' could be dropped if the logo were to be printed small or in such a way that it would not be legible when laser-etched, for instance.

Note that I'm quite flexible, and interested to see what can be produced. The main things are the text and the fact that this will be a logo used on products in the electrical/electronic industry. Don't take my own sketches or colour choices as a requirement, those were just some initial thoughts.
