Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
I need a logo design for my new role as a clinical (treating patients) and forensic (where medicine meets law) psychiatrist. The design emphasis here should be mostly on the forensic role. A forensic psychiatrist provides mental health consultation, investigations, advice, evaluations and related services to attorneys, courts, and organizations. This is a "Sherlock Holmes meets Sigmund Freud in the courtroom" sort of role. Part of the role is to function as an expert witness, so a suggestion of authority, expertise , confidence, reliability and integrity is important. The logo should convey a solid, trustworthy, product/service. It would be perfectly acceptable to use just the name of my business as the only design element. Other possibilities would be including elements that suggest "shedding light," "putting the puzzle together," "bringing it all together," "mastery," "striving for the best," "finding answers," etc. The logo will be used for business cards, stationery and other simple marketing tools. No scales of justice, please.
UPDATE: I've received so many amazing submissions...thank you! Please bear in mind a few more considerations: I am an expensive professional that attorneys will hire because they want me to testify in court in a way that helps their client. I need to be viewed as strong, expert, authoritative, logical, not a push-over, and strong under pressure (such as cross-examination!). All without losing the "human element"...that is, I can still be approachable, work with children, help families, understand the big picture. Thanks! Excited to see your ideas. :)

Schön zu haben
- My last name is the "brand," and the "Clinical & Forensic Psychiatry, LLC" is a descriptor. So in my mind I have the name prominent, with the descriptor more secondary.. But I'm flexible. Any non-text element integrated in to the design, such as a beacon, lighthouse, etc., must be graphically very simple. Nothing fussy, flowery or complicated.
