Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for our company who represent what we do, which is solving 2 major problems:

1) Food waste: 40% of all food is waste
2) World hunger: population is expected to grow to 9 billion and we can’t feed
everyone the way we use our resource now.

What we propose is to recover all organic waste and give it as food source for our insects, the black soldier fly. Once full of nutrients the larvae will be transformed in a protein rich flour to feed livestock such as fish and chicken. All the residues (insect dropping) are going to be sold as an organic fertilizer to have a zero waste facility.

Our goal is to have 100 tons of food waste consume by our insect every day. (5 garbage trucks) We want our logo to reflect the fact that we want to be a big player in this new ‘entoculture’ (entomology + culture) industry. We are a green tech start-up.

For the logo itself we like the idea to have a part of the larvae of the fly (need to be a black soldier fly not any fly).
