Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a new logo and identity for PootlePress.com

We would like to incorporate the idea of a new hero character we call 'Little Miss Pootle'

She is a cartoon-type character of a little girl who is super-intelligent. What she doesn't know about WordPress is not worth knowing. She has thick rimmed glasses, longish dark hair and is very cute and cheeky! Please see the attached image for an idea.

The kind of cartoon character we are thinking of is like the WooThemes ninja character - www.woothemes.com

We want to keep the red and white colour scheme and would like the writing of PootlePress to have capital 'P's and still be in a very simple/straightforward font, but for it not to be arial which it is currently.

We want to be able to use the logo and character on Twitter, Facebook as well as the website (so it needs to work in small square profile pics like Twitter)
