Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Develop a logo for a small remedial massage business.

This logo will be used to increase awareness of the new business and be the inspiration/style for future marketing material.

Zielmarkt/( -märkte)

Existing clients base as been procured using word of mouth.

Existing client are affiliated at a male gym. Client is looking to broaden thier client base without alienating existing male "tough guy" clients.

Client is seeking to target customers who are interested in:
- preventative massage for improved fitness and performance
- recovery from sports activities
- to treat specific injury

Client is NOT looking to target:
- pensioners/seniors
- customers looking for a relaxing/meditative massage that has no real substance or physical benefit such as; increased range of movement/flexibility, reduced pain from injury.

The ideal customer is:
- either male or female
- of varying family status (eg: with or without kids, married or unmarried)
- who regularly exercises and is active with a "healthy living" approach
- is open to using massage as a method of prevention or preparation
- will also get a massage in response to an injury, even if minor, rather than just ignoring it.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• - provided in following file formats: .jpg .eps .tiff .pdf .ai
• - available in CMYK colour and show colour numbers.
• - Must include the name of any fonts used so font can be downloaded later and used in other materials.
• - Ability to use logo on dark or white background, preferably with a white outline OR on some sort of badge.
• - Be professional but also have a warm, inviting feel. Note: existing client base is largely male, we dont want to alienate existing clients by looking "too soft" but also dont want to stop new clients from enquiring.
• - must include business name to increase awareness

Schön zu haben

• Have an element/ representation of movement - remedial massage is about relieving pain and improving muscle movement and performance.
• Consider using hands as a symbol in the logo, harnessing the "healing power of hands" as if they were giving a massage BUT this may be too complicated.
• Logo could include a person running/jumping/doing a sports activity, but several competitors already use similar symbols. Prefer where the person is more symbolic rather than a real person doing a specific activity.
• Using typography/font styles to abbreviate/shorten or make the business name easier to read would be welcome. A bolder font style would be preferable but should fit with any other elements of the logo.
• See attached some logo designs that we like.

Sollte nicht haben

• Must not look too "spiritual" - this massage business is focussed around remedial massage and sports recovery.
• Do not use a symbol of someone with an ache or pain.
