Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
I'm looking to design a 'kamon' or 'mon' for my family - a simple, graphic Japanese inspired motif that will serve as a family crest.
We want to pair the concept of "snow" (or snowflake?) and "vine" - a combined image. These words are related to our names. To be more conceptual - snow signifies cleansing, crispness, renewal; the vine signifies growth, drive, and abundance.
This is pretty similar to designing a logo for a business - however this is a motif that we might use printed on custom fabric, or on stationary. (Japanese designers often use the design in lanterns, fabric or architecture). Can you help? Happy to discuss further or set up customer design. Thanks Craig

Thank you for the designers that have kicked off the design process!
General feedback so far is that I'd like the design to be more abstract rather than literally taking on a traditional graphic image of a snowflake or vine.
I like the way the lines of writing appear in hanko/inkan stamps (I have just saved another attached file for reference). For this, the image appears more organic; imperfect but elegant. If this can be considered as you work the designs, that would be great!

Hi Everyone - a few general updates. With the 'vine' concept - please note we're not really looking for grape/wine themes in the work. Concepts with grapes or wine glasses/bottles don't follow the final look we're after. Thanks!

Not a commercial project. Would like a simple design that takes on the kamon concept to signify unity between two families (ie: a marriage where partners aren't taking the other's name, however want to create something that can symbolise our new family)
