Poster-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a poster for a conference designed. We have a website www.mmo-association.org

DIN A0 format, portrait layout (841mm width x 1189 mm height).

We have text, logo and photos ready for this and an idea in mind...

We are marine biologists who work with offshore industry mitigation and we need a corporate look (not whale huggy) as some of our interest will be from Industry.

We are a non-profit association and wish to attract sponsorship and paying members. So need the serious, professional, business like look.

We have photos so no illustrations needed.

We would like to see blue or aqua marine colours in the poster.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF PHOTOS and TEXT

All the text we supply (if too much let us know and we could perhaps cut this down)

Must include logo

"Marine Mammal Observer Association" should be included as a header if the logo is small. Please note that Marine Mammal Observer is a job title so these 3 words shouldn't be split and be equal in size.

The photos listed here MUST all be used... Main Photos 1-7

The main photo of the poster must be Main Photo 1 - as this depicts what the organsiation is about ie it is about the "observer" so we suggest this is prominent

We think that Main Photo 2 should be in a a striking position..

Main Photo 3 can be smaller

As we work with industry - Main Photo4 and Main Photo 5 should be a fair size. Can you give equal emphasis to these two images as we don't want one to appear more important than the other. In Main Photo 5 its important you don't chop off the gear that is being towed behind it. I am concerned that the resolution of Main Photo 5 is not good enough for a large poster - If you think this please look to use the substitute photo 5 instead.

Main Photos 6 and 7 should be included if possible (no 6 would look good spread across the bottom maybe?) If this a problem we could discuss leaving these out - however it would be good to include the type of species we cover.

I have added some other photos that could be included should a design have space but are really just spares...

Photos must have a credit where a name appears in the photo file name..
