Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Our team / group was founded back in 2009.
We play competitive videogames on PC.

I "designed" the current logo myself after purchasing a lion clipart, a font and putting them together.
You can see that in attachment.

Now we would like a new logo with an unique design, with of course no clipart.
Our new logo should look professional and minimal.

Jeder Schieber zeichnet eine der Charakteristiken der Marke des Kunden aus sowie den Stil, den euer Logo widerspiegeln sollte.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Requirements:
• a)
• - logo needs to have a graphic part, clearly recognizable as a lion (head, body, doesn't matter as long as it's clearly recognizable)
• - challenging aspect: this "lion" graphic part has to be *minimal*, without too much details
• - this graphic part should communicate some sort of energetic / strong / powerful mood in a professional way. Not childish / playful / joking.
• b)
• - logo needs also a type part, with "X-Lions" text
• - all caps for the type are allowed, but if you choose to go with upper AND lower cases, the "X" and "L" are the only ones to be uppercase
• - "X" and "Lions" are separated by a dash. The dash it's normally mandatory, but can be avoided if the two part are on two different lines.
• c)
• - the two parts (graphic lion and type) must be well combined / melted in some way
• - again, logo needs to be minimal: it's going to be used on fairly large version (website, t-shirts), but also used in games where it will be scaled down (details will be lost)
• - we need to have colored version, black on white version and white on black version

Schön zu haben

• Welcome but not mandatory:
• - font used in our current logo is "BankGothic Md BT" (license from bitstream.com): if you want to use a font for the "type" part, using this one would be nice. But only if it won't affect your design / combination with lion graphic part
• - for the colored version, we would like a black&red theme, but we are totally open to others color schemes
• - you are the designer, so any idea which is "against" our guidelines BUT will turn out to be really awesome, will be surely considered
