Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I'm looking to update my overall brand with a new logo. I am a documentary photographer/photojournalist (website: www.bernadettephoto.com). My logo is my full name, Bernadette Fox, which is a little tricky to work with (because the first name is so long and the last name so short!). I'm looking for something a bit cleaner, stronger and more modern than my current logo.

No color, only black, or shades of black and grey. No graphic or illustrated foxes please. It will primarily be used in 2 places... 1) on my website and 2) as an email header. I'd like to have both horizontal and stacked options. If you include "photographer" in the text, I'd like options without it as well (just my name).

Hoping that the logo is striking and memorable, but also doesn't take away from the visuals of the photo work itself. Most importantly, I don't want it to feel anything like a wedding or family or senior portrait photographer's logo (rather it should feel like a logo of photog you'd expect to see working for National Geographic or Time). Something bold but simple.

• Horizontal and stacked versions. Not too distracting from the visual photo work itself. See attached example of logos that I enjoy.

Sollte nicht haben

• Should not have color (shades of black and grey okay); no feminine or fancy script. Nothing to do with actual foxes ;) Also, no "camera" graphics.
