Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for an online directory of advertising solutions named Adalyst.

Adalyst is the MorningStar of online advertising. We bring the transparency of comparative, objective information to mobile ad buyers, allowing them to choose technology solutions using our unique dataset of features, integrations, and hard numbers. In today's high tech advertising world, we think that's a more effective way of making technology decisions than sifting through countless marketing blurbs that all read the same, and going with the salesman who gives you the best pitch over a steak dinner. We want to be seen as trustworthy and objective by both ad buyers and technology companies (at least, those companies not preying on buyer confusion and naivete.) We want the user experience to be very clean and straightforward, and to present a large amount of previously-unavailable information as simply as possible.

Our audience ranges from small mobile app developers trying to make sense of this hideously confusing ecosystem as they run their own campaigns, to sophisticated buyers for tech-savvy brands, and 25 year old buyers at ad agencies who are looking to stand out with their insights into effective mobile ad buying. None of them has time to learn anything complicated and laden with jargon. They know the results they want, but they might not know the types of tools or solutions they're looking for. Our job is to guide them to the types of solutions they want, and then show them comparative information to help them choose a handful of vendors to talk to, all the while helping them to feel more confident about the space, without patronizing them or talking down.

We want them to rave about the experience to everyone on their LinkedIn network as one of enlightenment, of Satori: "Oh. Oh!! I understand now! That's why x, y, and z never worked for me in the past! Jeez, why doesn't everyone out there know this stuff? Why have we all been choosing vendors the wrong way all this time?"

Target market is application developers seeking to advertise their apps, or young (25-30 y/o) media buyers at ad agencies. So a young, hip crowd overall.
